This really depends on your event. If you’re having an all bells and whistles sit down afternoon tea then you will need a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and serving plates/cake stands within easy reach of each guest. We can email you a quote based on this and you can have a look and see what you would like. If you’re having a more informal do with a buffet style serving table then less will be required. Whichever you choose you will need a trio per person (teacup/saucer/tea plate) or just a teacup and saucer if it’s a case of tea with cake served on a napkin.

We can supply tea party china for 450 guests and dinner plates/dessert plates for 130 guests.

This is your event darling; don’t concern yourselves with the detritus.

We prefer to do this ourselves as we like to check every item, so we know it’s perfectly clean for the next customer. Washing up is included in the price you pay; you just repack after removing all food, drink, teabags etc from the china. We label the boxes, so you know what goes where.

Your deposit secures your booking and the final balance is due on, or before, delivery. We take either bank transfer or cash.

Once you pay a deposit you have committed yourself to that number of items. We had to take this step as many customers were overordering then reducing their orders a few days before their events. What that meant for us is that we turned away orders once we reached our limits only to find we could have supplied them after all.

Luckily breakages are rare as bone china is reasonably robust as long as it’s packed correctly, however, accidents do happen. If you check our conditions of hire; see below, you will see the replacement costs of any breakages.

Someone might ask……… it depends on the season; our current favorite is Past Perfects La vie Parisienne or Rhythm is our Business – Mr Jolly has been known to whisk me off my feet for a quick smooch or swing dance at Jolly Towers.
